Academy Awards

Project Description

Whilst The Academy Awards are broadcast around the world each year, the event has its own internal entertainment not publicly broadcast. I worked on the video packages for the 2004 and 2005 years. This involved shooting parodies of the top films from that year and compositing Jack Black and other notable actors into those scenes. Each of these videos formed the opening for the award show and was so successful in 2004 that I was asked to repeat and update the concept for 2005. This work involved overseeing pre-production and production components. Through to editing, compositing, and grading in post.
